Patients with private health insurance have the choice to be treated as either public or private patients.

Those patients who elect to use private health insurance are assisting Echuca Regional Health to provide a better service, maintain facilities and make a valuable contribution to our future.  In return these patients receive additional benefits during their stay.

By electing to be admitted as a privately insured patient you will have no out of pocket expenses including your private insurance excess. All accounts incurred during your hospital stay will be collated and billed directly to your health fund on your behalf.

We will Guarantee No Out of Pocket Expenses will be incurred (with the exception of Dental and Eye Surgery)
