Program Overview
This program commences on January 22nd 2024.
2 positions at 0.8 EFT ongoing employment (8 days per fortnight).
Rotations are offered in Maternity and another inpatient ward area.
This program is designed to assist with transition from student to Registered Nurse /Registered Midwife and to provide consolidation of knowledge and skills whilst using a holistic approach to the delivery of nursing care.

How to apply
Register with Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) Allocation and Placement Service (APS)
List Echuca Regional Health Graduate Nurse / Graduate Midwife Program as a preference.
Nominate 2 referees. Provide name, position, email and phone contact details of each referee.
Submit application via the Echuca Regional Health Website and choose Echuca Regional Health Graduate Nurse / Graduate Midwife Program.

KSC1 Sound level of knowledge and skill relating to nursing care and the clinical environment appropriate to the position.
KSC2 Commitment to ongoing learning and the ability to accept constructive feedback and appropriate direction.
KSC3 Ability to set goals and objective and meet deadlines as required.
KSC4 Commitment to working as part of a team and the ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
KSC5 Commitment to completing all requirements of the graduate nurse program continuing professional development.
KSC 6 Knowledge of contemporary nursing issues, trends and research.
KSC7 Commitment to quality assurance and quality improvement activities.

Curriculum Vitae: please include list of placements undertaken during Undergraduate Studies. Please include organisation and dates.
Academic Transcript: we understand that this will not yet be complete.
Police Check for 2023.
Working with Children Check.
Clinical Placement Reports: we require the entire document. Please provide one report from Nursing and one from Midwifery, preferably from Acute placements in final year. We understand that you may not have completed 2 final year placements so please forward a third-year placement report if needed.
