Palliative Care Suite

Echuca Regional Hospital has 2 comfortable, purpose-built suites that Patients with a life limiting condition may be admitted too. For some people coming to a palliative care bed as a patient or to visit a loved one can be a confronting experience physically, spiritually and mentally. Our palliative care beds provide a home-like environment where you and your loved ones can spend valuable time together and maximise your quality of life. Patients can be admitted to a palliative care bed at any stage of their disease for the following reasons; symptom control (like acute pain or shortness of breath), for a period of assessment when the course of illness is unclear or for a more home like environment for end of life care.
