ERH Transition

The service will officially transition to ERH from 19 January 2026. Any enquiries relating to appointments up until this time should be referred to Campaspe Shire on 1300 644 964.

Echuca Regional Health (ERH) has been appointed by the Department of Health to deliver Maternal and Child Health (MCH) services across the region, following a decision from Campaspe Shire Council to withdraw from service delivery.

The Victorian MCH service plays a vital role in promoting health, wellbeing, safety, learning and developmental outcomes for children, their families and carers across the state. It is offered to all children from birth to school age, supporting parents, families and carers in raising happy and healthy children.

ERH has significant expertise in providing health care and support for the local community and will work with Campaspe Shire Council and the Department of Health to facilitate a smooth transition for all children and families, ensuring they receive ongoing important care and support through the MCH service.

Following the transition, ERH will continue providing the full range of MCH services from the existing service locations across Campaspe Shire. Consequently, parents will not need to change where they attend appointments, ensuring continuity of care and convenience for local families.

Families in Campaspe Shire, and across Victoria, can continue to contact the MCH Line on 13 22 29 seven days per week, 24 hours a day.

The service will officially transition to ERH from 19 January 2026.

Any enquiries relating to appointments up until this time should be referred to Campaspe Shire on 1300 644 964.
