The Alcohol and Other Drug Services (AOD) at Echuca Regional Health assist with a wide range of issues associated with the use of alcohol and other drugs. The Service is funded to provide Assessment, Counselling, Care & Recovery Coordination, Withdrawal and Pharmacotherapy throughout the Shire of Campaspe. Appointments are available in Echuca and Kyabram.

AOD Clinicians can assist clients and their families address issues associated with addiction and may include relationship issues, mental health, legal matters, health concerns, setting goals and wellbeing.

Services provided are:

• Assessment
• Alcohol and Other Drug counselling for individuals and/or their families/friends
• Care and Recovery Coordination.
  • The Pharmacotherapy Clinic is part of the Echuca Primary Care Clinic. Prescribers are available for Methadone Suboxone, LIAB and Hepatitis C Treatment.
• Needle Syringe Program.
• Home based and hospital withdrawal.  Referral to Specialised Detox Units and Residential Rehabilitation programs.

Medications prescribed during the Pharmacotherapy Clinic are charged according to pharmacy pricing.
