Currently going through cancer recovery experience
During lockdown in 2020 Hannah was diagnosed with stage 4B Hodgkins Lymphoma. The cancer was spreading quickly and life was turned on its head for Hannah, Hannah’s husband Chris, step-son and daughter (9 years old and 6 months old at the time). Hannah received chemotherapy in Melbourne, away from friends and family.
Upon completion of intense chemotherapy Hannah quickly discovered that just because you are in remission does not mean you have finished your cancer journey. Hannah became passionate about sharing aspects of cancer recovery online, for the purpose of supporting those during recovery and educating others.
Hannah joined the Ambassador program to continue advocating about cancer recovery. Hannah is a local Social Worker. Hannah is excited about having more services in the Echuca/Moama region to support all those battling cancer.
