Visitors are an important part of hospital life and contribute greatly to a patient’s recovery. However, for the benefit of our patients we do ask that visitors observe the visiting hours set out for each ward area, particularly those set aside for rest periods.

Visiting hours – 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Rest period between 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

More flexible visiting hours can be arranged in special circumstances – for example, patients who are very ill, nearing end of life or those with complex emotional, social or behavioural needs. If you wish to arrange alternative visiting times please speak to the Nurse In Charge or Nurse Unit Manager.

Visitors may be asked to leave the room temporarily whilst medical, nursing or paramedical staff attends to the patient.
