Services

The Population Health department at ERH is an innovative and dynamic team focussed on primary prevention, health promotion, co-design, diversity and education.

The team works to enhance the health and well-being of communities using a place-based approach to prevention, targeting action where people live, work and play, including schools, workplaces, sporting clubs and early years settings.

The Population Health team is responsible for implementing the community health – health promotion plan, under the following priority areas;

  • Increasing Healthy Eating
  • Increasing Active Living
  • Reducing Tobacco Related Harm
  • Mental wellbeing

Above and beyond this work the team leads the Health Promoting Health Services Implementation at ERH, implements the Life Program and Smiles 4 Miles oral health promotion program, has a focus on staff health and wellbeing and undertakes co-design for the broader health service.

The team leads diversity and co-champions the Reconciliation Action Plan.

Please contact the team if you are a partner organisation, school, workplace, community group, sporting club or early years setting to see how we can work together on health and wellbeing.
