Vaccination Eligibility Information

  • All people are recommended to defer Covid 19 vaccination for 3 months after a confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection, to optimise protection for that person.
  • Everyone aged 5 years and over is now eligible to receive a COVID-19 Vaccine
  • ERH is now accepting adult Pfizer vaccination walk-ins, however bookings are still preferred.
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people with a disability or special requirements, can visit any Victorian vaccination centre to get vaccinated, without needing to book an appointment.
  • You don’t have to be a Victorian resident to get a COVID-19 vaccine in Victoria.
  • You do not need a Medicare card or individual healthcare identifier to get vaccinated at a vaccination centre.

Pfizer Vaccination Information

A booking is required for all 5-11 year olds Pfizer vaccinations.

To help ensure the vaccination experience isn’t daunting for children, rooms have been decorated in a child friendly way and bookings will be kept to a small number to help keep the clinic calm and quiet. More bookings will be opening on a regular basis so please keep checking time slots when available.

AstraZeneca Vaccination Information

AstraZeneca is available via walk in during clinic times- Tuesday 3pm – 6pm, Thursday 9am – 12pm and Saturday 9am – 12pm


Third dose COVID-19 vaccinations

COVID-19 third dose vaccinations are now available at our clinic to anyone aged 16 and over who had their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine more than three months ago. To book click here

Pfizer is the recommended booster vaccine.

People who have had other vaccines in their previous doses can safely have Pfizer as a third vaccine.

You must have had your 2nd dose 3 months prior to receiving your 3rd dose

Covid-19 ‘winter dose’

Covid-19 ‘winter dose’ vaccinations are now available 4 months or longer after your booster dose (third dose) for the following eligible groups:

Adults aged 65 years and older

ATSI people aged 50 years and older

People aged 16 years and older with severe immunocompromise

and Residents of aged care or disability care facilities
