Supporting everyone to be healthy and live well

ERH Volunteering Program

Echuca Regional Health has a team of 50 passionate and enthusiastic volunteers who provide invaluable support to our patients, their families and our staff. From helping families find their way around the hospital, to visiting patients, assisting staff with administrative tasks and providing companionship for our aged care residents, the input of our volunteers is vital to the day-to-day functioning of our health service.

Our program is delivered across the following areas, with all volunteer roles supporting the patient experience;

  • Emergency Department
  • General Wards and Rehabilitation
  • Concierge Desk
  • Administration
  • Glanville Village

All ERH volunteers are recruited, trained and managed by the ERH Volunteer Coordinator.  Interested volunteers must go through our application process, which ensures those who are successful have the skills, expertise and commitment to volunteering that we are looking for.

Information on how to apply to become an ERH volunteer, as well as details on what the minimum requirements are, can be found on the How to become a volunteer page.
