An Endocrinologist specialist diagnoses and treats hormone related disorders.

Our Endocrinologist clinics accept referrals for General endocrine conditions, and complex diabetes conditions.

You will need a referral letter from your GP or medical specialist to access this service.

All referrals must include medications list and recent diabetes pathology -Urine ACR, HbA1c, Biochemistry / UEC, FBE, & Lipid profile

Your doctor will need to fax, or send your referral electronically, or you can bring it into the clinic. When your referral is received it will be reviewed by the consult-ing team and categorised based on clinical urgency.

You will then be notified of your clinical urgency category and expected wait time for your appointment.

The demand on the Endocrinology Clinic is high, consequently, waiting times for this clinic can be quite lengthy.

While every attempt will be made to provide you with the earliest possible appointment, the most urgent patients are given priority.

• Your Medicare card
• A list of medications you are currently taking including herbal supplements and vitamins
• Any relevant test results
• Your blood glucose diary/record book
• Your diabetes medicine
• Your favorite hypo medicine
• If you have an insulin pump download your pump before you come to your appointment.
• Your favorite hypo food

Our Specialist Clinics is located in Echuca Regional Health, Building E, 25 Francis Street Echuca.

There is 2-hour parking on-street parking in Francis St and Leichardt St. Clearly signed disabled parking is also available.

A text message reminder will be sent to your mobile the day prior to your appointment.

Please present to main reception desk on arrival to let staff know you have arrived.
