Childbirth Education and Early Parenting Classes

Childbirth Education classes are held throughout the year by our experienced Midwives.

As well informing you on pregnancy, birth and parenthood, these classes give you a chance to look around our facilities, meet some of our staff and meet other people who are going through pregnancy and parenthood at the same time as yourself.

You will attend a series of two classes run by our Midwives and a Physiotherapist. Class 1 covers labour and birth. Class 2 covers life after your baby arrives.

Around 30-32 weeks is a good time to commence classes.

There is the option to attend on Wednesday evenings at 5.30pm or Sunday mornings at 9.30 am. Each class will run for around 2 hours.

The classes are held in our ERH Education centre in Leichardt Street, Echuca. Parking is available in the adjoining carpark.
