ERH Cleanliness Audit

Maintaining a clean environment is crucial to preventing the spread of infections at Echuca Regional Health. We take cleanliness seriously and ensure all areas are regularly cleaned and audited to meet high standards. This helps reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections.

Consumer Feedback and Cleanliness Ratings

Your feedback is important to us. The Victorian Healthcare Experience Survey (VHES) allows us to gather information about patients’ experiences and continuously improve our service. ERH consistently receives high cleanliness ratings from patients, surpassing the state averages for Emergency, Maternity and Inpatient areas.

Auditing Our Cleaning Standards

To ensure our hospital meets cleanliness standards, monthly cleaning audits are conducted across all areas. These audits are based on risk levels defined by the Victorian Government Department of Health. Each department must meet an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) score, with ERH consistently performing 5-10% above these targets.
