Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program September intake **2023**

Program overview

This program commences on 18 September 2023.

Rotations offered: Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, Aged Care and Subacute Ward.

This transition to practice program is designed to assist with transition from student to Enrolled Nurse and to provide consolidation of knowledge and skills whilst using a holistic approach to the delivery of nursing care.

Key Selection Criteria

KSC1 Sound level of knowledge and skill relating to nursing care and the clinical environment appropriate to the position.

KSC2 Commitment to ongoing learning and the ability to accept constructive feedback and appropriate direction.

KSC3 Ability to set goals and objective and meet deadlines as required.

KSC4 Commitment to working as part of a team and the ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

KSC5 Commitment to completing all requirements of the graduate nurse program continuing professional development.

KSC 6 Knowledge of contemporary nursing issues, trends and research.

KSC7 Commitment to quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
